Administrative History
The Calgary Tournament of Champions, an invitational tournament of Canadian Midget hockey teams, was first held in 1978. In 1979 and 1980 it was known as the CP Air Challenge Cup. From 1981 on its leading sponsor was Mac's Convenience Stores, and it was opened to teams from outside of Canada. It became the Mac's World Invitational AAA Midget Hockey Tournament. A team sponsored by UFA Co-op, the UFA Bisons, won the tournament in 1998. UFA Co-op placed advertisements in the tournament program.
