Item consists of a photograph: b&w, of George Church driving the future Queen, Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh on their visit to Calgary, October 18, 1951. Edwin Gammon is seated on the right.
Administrative History
The Halifax, Truro & Pictou stagecoach was owned by the Brewster family touring company. George Church drove the royal couple to a special command performance of the Calgary Stampede at Stampede Park. George Church was the president of the UFA from 1945 to 1961.
