Administrative History
The United Farmers of Alberta Co-operative was the main sponsor of the Summer Agricultural Education Institute. In 1990 UFA Co-op committed $60,000 over a four-year period to go towards providing food, tuition and accommodation for up to 30 teachers each year. The Institue was designed, taught and credited by the University of Lethbridge with the objective of helping Alberta teachers and their students become more aware of agricultural issues. The Institute was credited at a graduate level.
