Item consists of a photograph: b&w portrait of UFA MLA John Russell Love.
Administrative History
John Love was a veteran of the First World War, who was the MLA for Wainwright with the United Farmers of Alberta government. He was elected in the 1921, 1926 and 1930 provincial elections. After the second World War, Love helped build the Alberta Co-operative Wholesale Association. In 1922 Russell Love and Alex Moore introduced a resolution "...that an adverse vote on a government measure was not sufficient reason for the government's resignation, unless the motion be one of direct want of confidence."
