Administrative History
The Church family moved from Ontario to the Balzac area of Alberta and established a dairy farm they called the “Wagon Wheel Ranch.” His father, William J. Church, was a charter member of UFA. George Church became a horseman and a dairy farmer at Balzac. A firm believer in farm organization, Church joined the Board of UFA in 1929 and was president of UFA from 1945 to 1961.
