Administrative History
John Slattery was born in Ireland. After spending some time in the Moose Jaw area, he bought land near Camrose ca. 1913 where he raised Jersey cattle and Oxford sheep. Slattery was active in the UFA in the Camrose area and served as secretary of the Victoria UFA Association from 1919 to 1925. Slattery was also a Director of the Alberta Livestock Pool for 1926.
