Administrative History
Rudolph Hennig was born in Chisinau in 1886 and moved to Alberta with his family in 1890. Hennig ran as a UFA candidate and won a seat in the 1926 Alberta general election in the electoral district of Victoria, and won a seat in the 1930 election in the new district of Clover Bar. Hennig was defeated by David Roberts for party nomination in 1935 and retired from politics. Hennig received an honorary degree from the University of Alberta in 1965, and passed away in 1969.
