Administrative History
Douglas Breton ran as a UFA candidate in the electoral district of Leduc in the 1926 Alberta general election, winning the seat. He ran for re-election in the 1930 election, in which he was narrowly defeated. The village of Keystone was renamed Breton in his honour in 1927.
