Scope and Content
The fonds consists of site plan of the Nobleford UFA agency (1963); Joe Konynenbelt's UFA Co-op share certificates, agent's correspondence (1965), Equipment Lubrication pamphlet for UFA member-customers (ca. 1971), agent's commission agreement (1972), instructions for sales and servicing of Atlas tires and batteries, daily stock report and sales ledger (1973), promotional calendar/daily farm record ledger (1977), bulletins from UFA on prices of products (1977-1982); blank receipt books (ca. 1990s); speech given by Henry Konynenbelt to the Historical Society of Alberta (1995), photos reflecting Randy Konynenbelt's life and his career as a UFA agent, and biographical notes on Randy Konynenbelt .
Joe Konynenbelt, ?-1987, became the petroleum agent for UFA Co-op in Nobleford, Alberta in 1965. After his death, his son Randy, 1949- , and daughter-in-law Paulette took over the agency. Randy and Paulette retired in 2004. Joe's cousin Henry Konynenbelt was a Director of UFA Co-op.
Many of the materials were contributed by Joe Konynenbelt's wife Johanna Konynenbelt.

File contains a halftone prints of photographs belonging to La Glace UFA agent Norman Edgar used in a 1978 United Farmer magazine article about the Edgar family's involvement with UFA petroleum operation in La Glace. The prints include a photo of Norman Edgar with Oxen in 1912, a ski jump on the Edgars' property from 1919 and a horse-drawn car.

In the 1940s Norman Edgar became the UFA petroleum agent at La Glace in conjunction with the La Glace Co-op Association and remained in the position until his death in 1958.

1967 - 1978
Ken Edgar became the manager of the La Glace Co-op Association's (a UFA-affiliated cooperative) petroleum operations in 1958 following the death of his father, the previous manager. In 1966, his operation became a UFA petroleum agency.
