Lindy Lunty, d. ca. 2003, of Forestburg, Alberta, was a member of United Farmers of Alberta Co-operative. His brother Harold "Glenn" Lunty, 1922-2005, also farmed in the Forestburg district and was a Director of United Farmers of Alberta Co-operative.

Glenn Lunty, of Forestburg, served as Delegate for Sub-District 38 from 1969 to 1977, as Director of district 6F from 1978 to 1984, as Delegate for Sub-District 38 from 1986 to 1989, and as Delegate for Sub-District 62 from 1990 to 1997 following a reorganization of districts in 1990.
