The United Farm Women of Alberta Alumnae Association was an organization of past executive officers of the United Farm Women of Alberta. The group met in conjunction with the annual convention of the U.F.W.A. Their objects were to maintain a traditional perspective and support the work of the contemporary Executive.
The series consists of minutes of the annual conventions of the United Farm Women of Alberta (1932-1944), records of the Resolutions Committee (1933), minutes of an Executive meeting (1938), and minutes of the United Farm Women of Alberta Alumnae Association (1933-1945).
The fonds consists of the minute books of Hiram U.F.A. Local No. 240, including financial and membership records, and miscellaneous receipts and handbills.
The Bently U.F.A. Local No. 240 was founded in 1919, in a district near Coronation, Alberta. By 1926 its name had changed to Hiram U.F.A. Local No. 240. Throughout its history it had about 20 to 30 members. It was still active in 1949.
