The Kerndale U.F.A. Local No. 775, located in the district of Kerndale near the village of Berwyn in the Peace River region of Alberta, was founded in 1918. It became inactive in 1941.

The fonds contains the minute book (including cash book) of Notre Dame U.F.A. Local No. 716 (1922-1931), correspondence (1931), cash book of Notre Dame Junior U.F.A. (1933-1945), and minutes (including membership rolls) of Notre Dame Junior U.F.A. (1942-1945).
Administrative History
Notre Dame U.F.A. Local No. 716, a local unit of the United Farmers of Alberta, was founded around 1915. It met at Notre Dame School, located just northeast of Edmonton. It was still legally in existence but was inactive in 1966, the year U.F.A. Central Co-op disbanded. It sponsored a club for youth, Notre Dame Junior U.F.A. Local No. 108, from 1933 or earlier until 1945 or later.

The fonds was donated by Brenda Bass, daughter of Junior U.F.A. member Margaret McCrimmon and granddaughter of early U.F.A. member H. McCrimmon.
