The fonds consists of two letters and two agreements concerning the leasing and insuring of the Clover Bar Hall (1930-1932); the minute book of the Local, including membership records and financial records (1951-1973); sales and stock report of the Maple Leaf Petroleums agency in Bremner (1935-1936); membership list (1962); correspondence and financial records (1956-1975); and a topographical map of the Edmonton district annotated to show coal prospects (1926).
Administrative History
Clover Bar was a farming district in Strathcona County, just east of the city of Edmonton, Alberta. A local organization of the United Farmers of Alberta, Clover Bar U.F.A. Local No. 90, existed before 1915. East Clover Bar U.F.A Local No. 3 and Clover Bar U.F.W.A. Local No. 40 were the local organizations in 1930. By 1951 Clover Bar F.U.A. Local No. 608 was established. In 1970 it became the Clover Bar Unifarm Local 6208. Apparently it became inactive around 1975.
The fonds includes the club's minute book; correspondence; programs, bulletins and circulars from the Junior Branch of the United Farmers of Alberta; and collected publications.
Administrative History
The Consort Junior U.F.A., a club for young members of farm families in the district of Consort, Alberta, was active in the 1940s. Its secretaries during that period were Erdine Redel, Helen Redel, Shirley Redel, and Shirley Isaac. Upon the formation of the Farmers Union of Alberta in 1949, it became the Consort Junior F.U.A.
File consists of a form letter, and three specific letters, regarding disputes within Locals, written by Provincial Secretary Herbert Higginbotham.

The Bently U.F.A. Local No. 240 was founded in 1919, in a district near Coronation, Alberta. By 1926 its name had changed to Hiram U.F.A. Local No. 240. Throughout its history it had about 20 to 30 members. It was still active in 1949.

Innisfail U.F.A. Local No. 178 had its organizational meeting on March 31, 1916. Later that year it was redesignated as Local No. 10. It disbanded sometime before 1966.

The Kerndale U.F.A. Local No. 775, located in the district of Kerndale near the village of Berwyn in the Peace River region of Alberta, was founded in 1918. It became inactive in 1941.

The file consists of the minute book of Union U.F.A. Local No. 139, including the membership roll (1919-1926), list of members holding receipt books (1934), cash book (1919-1926), minutes (1919-1926), and list of cash prizes awarded at picnic (1926). Minutes contain details for planning their U.F.A. picnics; some minutes are for joint meetings of the U.F.A. and U.F.W.A.
The volume contains the minutes of Onoway U.F.A. Local No. 131 (1924-1942) and the minutes, membership records, and accounts of Onoway F.U.A. Local No. 527 (1949-1950).
This series includes minutes of meetings of the shareholders, Board, Co-operative Committee, and a conference of U.F.A. Central Co-operative Association. It also contains a directory of old U.F.A. Locals and Sub-Districts, which appointed delegates to the Association's annual conferences.

Administrative History
Namaka Farmers Union No. 122 had its organizational meeting on December 29, 1909 at Namaka, a district east of Calgary, Alberta. It was a Local of the United Farmers of Alberta and its name was later styled Namaka U.F.A. Local No. 122. It was engaged in cooperative buying of twine. It was still active in 1935.
The fonds consists of a published pamphlet: A Cameo of the West : story of the pioneers of the Sturgeon River district. - [Namao] : U.F.W.A. Local No. 61, 1936; and a collected pamphlet: The magpie menace / by Kerry Wood - Red Deer : K. Wood, c1949.
Administrative History
The Namao U.F.W.A. Local No. 61 was one of the earliest Locals of the United Farm Women of Alberta, located just north of Edmonton. In 1949, when the United Farm Women of Alberta became the Farm Women's Union of Alberta, the local organization became the Namao F.W.U.A.
The fonds contains the minute book (including cash book) of Notre Dame U.F.A. Local No. 716 (1922-1931), correspondence (1931), cash book of Notre Dame Junior U.F.A. (1933-1945), and minutes (including membership rolls) of Notre Dame Junior U.F.A. (1942-1945).
Administrative History
Notre Dame U.F.A. Local No. 716, a local unit of the United Farmers of Alberta, was founded around 1915. It met at Notre Dame School, located just northeast of Edmonton. It was still legally in existence but was inactive in 1966, the year U.F.A. Central Co-op disbanded. It sponsored a club for youth, Notre Dame Junior U.F.A. Local No. 108, from 1933 or earlier until 1945 or later.
Custodial History
The fonds was donated by Brenda Bass, daughter of Junior U.F.A. member Margaret McCrimmon and granddaughter of early U.F.A. member H. McCrimmon.
The file consists of lists of U.F.A. Locals photocopied from the 1915 and 1916 annual reports of the U.F.A.; list of old U.F.A. Locals (ca. 1960-1966) arranged by sub-district, with names and addresses of their secretaries; names and addresses of delegates and directors; and a printout (1965) listing the Locals in alphabetical order.
Administrative History
Locals of the U.F.A. were grouped into sub-districts which elected delegates. The delegates elected a director from each district of the U.F.A. They also attended the annual conference of the U.F.A Central Co-operative Association. This structure remained in place after the reorganization of the U.F.A. in 1948-1949, but ceased to exist upon the winding up of U.F.A. Central Co-op in 1966.
The fonds consists of the minute book used by the Onoway U.F.A. Local No. 131 (1924-1942) and Onoway F.U.A. Local No. 527, with membership list (1949-1950); the account book (1919-1935); journal (1926-1936); and cheque book (1933-1934).
Administrative History
Onoway U.F.A. Local No. 131 was organized in the 1910s. By 1919 it was pooling its members' economic resources by shipping livestock and purchasing bulk quantities of feed, coal, and twine. The Local apparently became inactive in 1942. In 1949 some former members organized the Onoway F.U.A. Local No. 527, a Local of the Farmers' Union of Alberta. This organization apparently became inactive in 1950.
The file consists of programs of suggested activities for local clubs of the Junior Branch of the United Farmers of Alberta. The 1944-1945 program includes minutes of the Consort Junior U.F.A.
File consists of a proposed constitution of the Huxley to Grainger District Association of the United Farmers of Alberta.
Administrative History
A group of U.F.A. locals in the districts between Huxley and Grainger, encompassing the towns of Trochu and Three Hills, proposed forming a district association for the purposes of coordinating their political activities and engaging in cooperative buying and selling. It is not known whether the association was actually organized.

Sexsmith U.F.A. Local No. 204 was established early in the history of the United Farmers of Alberta, in the community of Sexsmith in the Peace River region of Alberta. It built a community hall sometime before 1929. In 1949, after the establishment of the Farmers' Union of Alberta, it became the Sexsmith F.U.A. Local No. 135. By 1956 the membership had dwindled, and the ability of the Local to sustain the community hall was in doubt.
